Ormond Valley Fold is situated just outside Gisborne, which is on the east coast of the North Island. The farm is on the northern sunny side of gentle rolling hillside, overlooking fields of grapes. Covering just 33 acres it has proved itself an excellent location for the breeding of this rare line of cattle.

All our stock are raised on grass, with no commercial stress, and this shows. Happy cows produce healthy calves, and usually more heifers, as we have found to be the case.

Steve and Sandra would like to welcome anybody to come and stay for a couple of days on the farm, to see for themselves, what it is about these animals that will captivate you. We are sure that once experienced, you will want to start your own fold, on your own small holding or farm.

We offer good honest advice to any potential new owners, not only before purchase, but the all important time after you buy. This will help to build your own knowledge base, to become confident owners of his rare breed.
